Travel · When the moment comes
Seek refuge when you arrive somewhere
- The practice
- When you arrive and settle at a place (hotel, guesthouse, campsite), say: A'udhu bi kalimatillahit-tammati min sharri ma khalaq.
- When
- Arriving at a place you'll stay
- In daily life
- Say it as you drop your bags in the hotel room, settle into your in-laws' guest room or zip up the tent. Teach it to the kids on your next family trip; it's short enough to learn in a day.
