Travel · When the moment comes
See off a traveller with 'Astawdi'ullah'
- The practice
- When someone sets off on a journey, say to them 'Astawdi'ullaha dinaka wa amanataka wa khawatima 'amalik.'
- When
- When someone you know sets off on a journey
- In daily life
- Say it at the airport drop-off, the bus station, or at the front door as the suitcase goes into the car. Save the words in your phone notes, so when someone messages that they're setting off, you can send it to them too.
