1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Uswa website (uswaapp.com) and the Uswa mobile application (collectively, the “Service”), operated by Lovemath LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Uswa is a mobile application and website that helps Muslims progressively adopt daily Sunnahs of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) through timely, context-aware notifications grounded in verified hadith from Sahih al-Bukhari. The Service includes sunnah tracking, streak-based progression, prayer-time notifications, and related features.

3. User Accounts

When the mobile app becomes available, you may need to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Use automated means to access the Service without our permission
  • Reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service content

5. Intellectual Property

The Uswa name, logo, app design, user interface, and original content are the property of Lovemath LLC and are protected by intellectual property laws. Hadith texts are sourced from Sahih al-Bukhari and are part of the Islamic scholarly tradition. Our curation, organization, categorization, and presentation of these texts is proprietary.

6. Religious Content Disclaimer

The hadith and sunnah content provided through the Service is for educational and personal practice purposes. While we strive for accuracy by sourcing exclusively from Sahih al-Bukhari, we encourage users to consult qualified Islamic scholars for religious guidance. The Service is not a substitute for professional religious advice.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LOVEMATH LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action arising out of these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey.

10. Dispute Resolution

Before filing any legal claim, you agree to attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at legal@uswaapp.com. We will attempt to resolve the dispute informally within 30 days. If informal resolution is not successful, either party may pursue formal legal action as described above.

11. Apple and Google App Store Terms

If you download the Uswa app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, you acknowledge that:

  • These Terms are between you and Lovemath LLC, not with Apple Inc. or Google LLC
  • Apple and Google have no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app
  • In the event of any failure to conform to applicable warranties, you may notify Apple or Google for a refund of the purchase price (if any); beyond that, Apple and Google have no warranty obligation
  • Apple and Google are not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app
  • Apple and Google are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
