People and neighbours · When the moment comes
Accept invitations, even modest ones
- The practice
- Accept an invitation or small gift without judging its value.
- When
- Receiving an invitation or a small gift
- In daily life
- When a neighbour invites you in for simple tea or a colleague brings in something homemade, say yes gladly. Don't compare it with fancier tables; showing up and enjoying it is the best thanks.
